Did anyone get a photo of Coach Swelnis? He left during the hor's deuvres, before we went into the dining room.

I have some video mini clips of Coach Swelnis that I need to edit and want to experiment with. Please forgive me. I recently went over to the dark side in computers (MAC) and am enjoying new software and abilities. Add to that, I am not a video camera person and have only used the camera I bought for my wife for Xmas a few times. (She hasn't used it at all. Shh.. don't tell her that sometimes men buy things for their others that they really want.)

We don't have kids - just dogs. Two of our dogs are now 15 and 16. Time is short and that is why we have the video camera.

I'll try to do something quickly, but this weekend might not possible whereas I have postponed some work things for more important things - YOU - and I might add HAPPILY!!!!

I had such a great time at the reunion. It was too short.

I will get to work.

Peter

Charles- you got it really right!!!!! And thanks to all for the awesome time. Karen - WOW! Everyone - WOW, there are no words that can describe the times that we spent. Old days - New days - it was like we never missed a day.
Thanks to all and everyone for working the reunion and being there.

Thanks for clearing that up Karen. I knew a lot of girls and I had a few very dedicated friends. Now I have a lot more friends. I mended all the fences I set out to mend. All is right with the world.

Mr. Broaddus called last night and wanted to let everyone know how much he enjoyed being at our reunion. He had a great time seeing so many of his students and other faculty.

I forwarded Mrs. Lewis the video of the teachers that Peter did & this was her response: Thanks Kim --We all had a great time. Next time I would like to get a copy of everybody's address and or e mail and a brief description of what everyone is doing --career,family or did you all have them and I just did not get one?Loved the video . You all did a terrific job --KUDOS!!!!!

I think that it can safely be said that we all had a good time. There will be many photos and comments made here. If there is ever a comment or photo posted that is embarrassing or offensive to you, please let the administrator know.

Hey everybody! The idea of another reunion has already been proposed so I think we should follow up on it. I don't see it happening really soon like we would want it to, but if we brainstorm now we can come up with some ideas to utilize our limited time more efficiently. Karen had some great ideas for games and giveaways that never happened simply because the evening got away from us. Next time I think we should search for a venue that will allow us to stay longer than 4 hours. I also believe some classmates had an issue with the cost. We can work on that too. The more people get involved the lower the cost will be. Please keep in touch. I know it is easy to lose momentum after the enthusiasm wears off. I noticed we are still getting classmates to register to this site. Drop them a line and make them welcome. Have a great day every day! :-D

Chas, on that note, I would like everyone to know that I'm keeping a "master list" of classmates for future reunions. If anyone moves or wants to update any new information, let me know. I'm also going to be sending out an email later of classmates we need information on, so if you have any info at all, please forward it. Again, it was really great seeing everyone & I only wish I had gotten around to more tables to visit. I was just having so much fun & didn't. I'm bad...(ha), that's something my grandkids would say!!! kkruger4@yahoo.com.

It was a night to remember, always. Does anyone know when the books are going to be available and where?I can't wait to show my family. Old Grandma got wild on her wheels!!

Barry Jones

I will get started on the book as soon as I get enough photos. I am very sorry that Brenda and I couldn't make it. I have shot reunions for just about every school in my corner of Florida and I end up missing my own. I will put together a hard cover book similar to what I do for weddings. I believe Karen is gathering up photos and is going to send them to me. Anyone who hasn't given their photos to Karen can copy them onto a cd or dvd and mail them directly to me at:

Barry Jones
886 Yorktowne Dr.
Rockledge, FL 32955

All I ask is that no one emails me a bunch of photos. I have had that happen before and it put my email account over capacity. My daughter freaked out because she is using my email address for all of her college correspondence. She may be running cross country and track at Arkansas, Mississippi State, Univ of South Florida or a few others including my beloved Va Tech.

Also, anyone that has some digital video files, send them too. I plan on putting together a video slide show and I can mix in some video clips along with the still photos. I will post that on my web site when it is done.

People, I have around 20 pictures so far. That ain't much of a book! Don't assume that others are going to be sending in hundreds of pictures. Also, don't assume that I will be able to pull them off of the web site. I need high resolution photos in order to make a quality book. Photos posted on a web page are typically reduced to 72dpi. The photos coming out of your digital camera are probably 300dpi (much more detailed).
Let's get this thing going...

Hi everyone, and Happy Holidays!

I ran into Barbara Lewis at Costco a few weeks ago and she told me that she's spoken to Bill Morris. He would love to hear from his former students. You can reach him at 804-681-0315, and his address is 2041 Burgess Rd, Chester, VA 23836.

Lance Wall

Hey guys,

I recently got on the MHS website for the first time. I just noticed that there is a photo for the 20 year reunion that says it is me (Phillip Wall), but it is not me because I was not there. I thought I would bring it to someone’s attention, so they can put the correct name on the guy who is in the picture. Even though my name is Phillip Lance Wall. People always called me by my middle name… Lance.

Hello fellow grads!

I just wanted to say hi and let you all know you are in my thoughts.
I still am bummed that I did not get to come to the reunion but am in hopes that I will get to hang out with some fellow grads while I am in town.
If things go as planned I will be in VA mid June, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Hope you are well. Stay warm there.

Love,
Tricia
